What is a podcast database?
A podcast database is a searchable index of podcasts and their hosts or bookers, used by PR teams to find shows that fit a guest or story and to reach the right person with a pitch.
Media Database Guide judges podcast databases the same way as press databases: size, accuracy, and whether pitches sent through them get replies. Some podcast tools are built for listening research or open indexing rather than outreach, which is worth knowing when you compare them.
